Ezra-Nehemiah is an awesome book. The problem is it is a massive narrative. So when you have to give an all-age talk on one part of the narrative the context of the passage is important, as is a proper grasp of the broader narrative. The problem is that the 'setting the scene' part is difficult and time consuming.
